Talking to Henry - First office hour day

I went to Henry's lab today. I hadn't seen him for a long time, and I wanted to know what he does these days. He got a new lab-mate that made him work triple times as much as he used to work; so, I knew that he was very busy.

...

Me: I am going to talk to one of the girls here to ask her be my friend (girlfriend). What do you think?
He: I think it is very good. I encourage you to do that.
Me: I don't want to get attached and hurt again.
He: Just start knowing her.
Me: She is a Persian. Is it OK?
He: I think yes. At least, you know her language. You can communicate with her.

I had a conversation with Henry a few months ago, and he had said, "I think that it is better not to get a friend among Persians. It is because they are far from their family, and these close friendships can hurt them. Unless someone is sure about that person, I think it is better to avoid them." I always had this in my mind, and I tried to avoid Persian girls, but I think that it is time to go further with Nancy.

Today was my first office day. I came back to my office. An American girl showed up. She had wore a very strong perfume. She was a blonde with a very white skin. She asked me to help her in the first assignment of the course. She was not very pretty, but I was very uncomfortable talking to her. She took my breath for no valid reason. I tried to keep my distance from her. I hope not to see her again in my office.
