My course project and talking to Angelina

Today was the last day of my class. We had our project presentations. My team members behaved with me like strangers. We were in the middle of the class that Angelina came. She was in the other section. The presentation went well, and there was no problem.

After the class, I stayed to talk to Angelina.

She: I am graduating this semester.
Me: Really? I thought that you had one more year.
She: No, I took summer courses, and I was in the fast track. I will get my Masters this semester.
Me: Congratulations.
She: Thanks.
Me: What are you going to do after that?
She: I will join the company that I had my internship with it.
Me: That's great. So, I won't see you here again.
She: No. I should work full-time there.

...

She: Where are you going?
Me: I am coming with you. It is almost a year that I haven't seen you. I would like to talk to you.
(Talking about company, driving to work, my car accidents, ...)

...

She: My dog bit someone a few days ago.
Me: Oh, how?
She: We were out, and another dog started to bark, and it got nervous, and attacked the owner of that dog. She never did such a thing before.
Me: It's sad.
She: For me, the sad thing was not having it for 10 days. They quarantined her for ten days to make sure that she doesn't have rabidity.
Me: I see (but I didn't see!) [See, this is a problem of having an American girlfriend. Her dog may bite someone and the only thing she cares is not having it for a while, but at least Angelina is super cute :)]
...

I don't have time to write all our conversation, and it seems that this is not related to the main story.
