Homecoming days in the university

I didn't go to any university events this year. The main reason was that I didn't want to be alone. In addition, it was not that funny to be in an event twice. I was in almost all of the events last year. There are several days in the university that graduated students come back to visit the university and its called "Homecoming" Today was one of those days. I just got a sandwich because I was super hungry.

I got a hair gel

For the first time, I decided to buy a hair gel to improve my hair style.
I may meet her again tomorrow, so I wanted to look nice. I need also some sport jackets or blazers that I am planning to buy it on Black Friday.

So many doppelgangers of her

I saw that girl another time with another boy on Monday. There was a very big chemistry book on their table. They sound to be working on an assignment. On Tuesday, however, I saw at least two of er dopplegangers. I don't know why, but I saw so many girls like her.

At first, I was sitting with Martin and Hanson in the cafe. Hason said, "These things are for 20-22 years old persons. You are 30. When you talk to someone 18-20 they just scare of you :) Find someone at least 25-26." I said, "OK. But show me someone. Look around. They are all early 20's. It is a university."

I saw someone a little like her. Since I didn't see her face well, I couldn't remember her. Her hair, however, had a different color. I told Martin, and he suggested me to go and talk to her. I was not sure, though. I saw another girl, and I decided to talk to her. I started a conversation by asking a question about the newspaper on her table. Once she answered me, I thought that she was not interested at all. So, I couldn't continue the conversation. A few minutes later, I saw real her with three other boys surrounding her on a table in the same cafe. This time, I was one hundred percent sure that she was her. I saw that chemistry book again on her table. They were working on a group project. Again, I couldn't see her face because she was sitting next to a wall. They left the cafe very soon. So, I couldn't talk to her.

I saw another girl that was very similar to her at night. At first, I thought that was she, but after looking closely and remembering her hair color, and comparing photos, I figured out that this one is also a fake one.

A few minutes later, I saw another girl who was also similar to her (and a little similar to Taylor), but she was with her friends again. I thought that maybe this one is the real, and the person I saw in the morning was another fake one :) She disappeared very soon before I even see where she went.

For sure, that girl with the chemistry book was the real one because I saw her that time with that book. But I wonder why there are so many fake dopplegangers of her in our university. It was close that I give my number to a wrong girl :)

Do you drink?

I received a message from a girl in one of the online dating websites.

She: "Do you drink?"
Me: "Hi. I drink water, fruit juice, anything non-alcoholic. What about you?"
She: "Ugh! I was going to ask you out for a drink. Guess not"
Me: "There are so many drinkers out there. I am pretty sure that all of them are interested to go out with someone like you."

I didn't get any answer from her for a while. I thought that she didn't want to continue this conversation, but she sent me another message after an hour

She: "Ha! I don't drink much. Maybe 1 drink every couple months. But you might be right."
Me: "I see. But how a person that can't never do without "A small flask of whiskey" and thinks that drinks "desperately," drinks only once "every couple months"? By the way, if you don't drink that much, you can do what I do. Ask people out for a coffee. It is easier :)"

She: "I love whiskey and scotch. I'm in yoga teacher training and normally do not drink for health. I wrote that 1 yr ago and haven't changed it. I will do that next time, noted."
Me: "I am very interested in yoga. I read a book about it, and I practiced it myself. Last semester, I joined a yoga class, but I couldn't finish it because I was busy. I may join it again next semester. If you are not living far from me, I am interested to ask you out for a coffee in a Starbucks."

She: "I live off of ... . If you promise not to pass judgement or read too far into things, then yes.
Me: "Thank you for accepting. I am living near coit and campbell. So, you are not far and not so close. OK. I promise. My friend has invited me to his home tonight, so we can meet sometime tomorrow afternoon."
She: "I can't this week. I have to prepare some lessons, practice, and work. Next week?"
Me: "OK. Contact me when you are available."

I sent the last sentence tomorrow because I went to Martin's house. I don't know if she interpreted this as a sign of not being interested or not.

She was pretty, and she wanted to be a teacher. She was half Aztec Indian and half Caucasian that kind of make her a unique appearance. She was not my type of girl for marriage because she was doing drugs, and she didn't have any religion, but I was interested to see her. I don't know if I can meet her next week or not, but if I could I consider it as a good first experience.

Art of Manliness

I spent several hours reading the articles of this website, http://www.artofmanliness.com, today. I think that I really need to improve my appearance and my style. I didn't even know very obvious tips that this site offered.

When I thought carefully about it, I figured out that anytime I spent time and bought whatever I really wanted, I looked better. I remembered a few years ago that I bought expensive cloths only because I liked them and I wanted to impress that girl; I heard this sentence ten times a day, "You look amazing." My aunt even said, "I have never seen you such stylish before. Always wear like that." Therefore, I think that I need to trust my feelings and go shopping again to buy whatever I deserve.

Talking to Ella

I saw Ella in the department aisles, and I decided to talk to her for a while. I wanted to ask her to come with my for buying cloths on Black Friday. When I approached her, her friend next to her smiled at me. I don't know why, but after a while she left us. I started talking to her about her project.

"Let's go to meet Henry. You go first, I will come later." Ella said.

I wanted to talk to her. I wanted to ask her to come with me. I don't know why Iranian girls are so complex. Why did she ask this? Perhaps she didn't want to talk to me because she was uncomfortable around me, or she wanted to tell me that I don't like you that much, or she simply wanted to meet Henry for no reason, or she had something to do that she didn't want me to be there because of that. I didn't want to meet Henry because I saw him a few minutes ago. In addition, we could go there together, why did she ask me to left her? I don't know, and I don't want to know. Whatever it was, I don't want to deal with these complexity in my real life. I don't know if American girls are also like that or not. If they are, I don't want to marry anyone at all.

By the way, I went to Henry's lab, and I stayed there until she came. We talked for a few minutes, and I left them to meet my professor. This sentence, however, completely changed my mind about asking her out.

Taylor won Pinnacle Award. SO HAPPY FOR HER

I read in the news that Taylor won Pinnacle Award. I can't believe it. I am so happy because of her. I knew it from the very first day that I saw her.

I sit in my university cafe and see girls coming and going, but sometimes I think that she is the only THE ONE.
