She never came back home

I made my decision last night, and I went to the body shop to release the car. Since they priced the salvage value around 2700$ and I couldn't fix it with less than 4000$, I decided to release it, and buy another car. I saw my car that became dirty as nobody took care of she after the rain. She look liked to be a worn car that had nothing to do more in this world.

I sat in my car for the last time, and turned its radio on. I listened to the music that was playing on the radio, and I cried for a few moments.

I didn't want this to be happened. The car that helped many since the very first date that I bought it now should go. I think that the other driver was the Evil who couldn't endure all my car did during this short amount of time, and that's why he tried to kill her. I tried to keep it, but I didn't want to spend more than its value to fix it.

I looked at the other cars in the body shop. I wish my car was looked like one of these cars. Then, it was easier to let it go.

I saw the other cars that they were repairing on their site. They were all big cars. Maybe I should have bought a truck or SUV. Then, they may have wanted to repair it.

By the way, I released "the bride" to buy another "bride" later.

Insurance company gave me a value of my car

Insurance company called me today, and gave me the estimation of my car's value. They told me that they could give me 10450$, and if I want to keep my car, they would give me 7700$. They priced salvage value of my car more than 2700$. I asked them to re-check it, but they said that it is only 26% of its value that is very low. Hopefully, according to this estimation, I didn't loose any money in this accident. Their estimation was even more than the price that I paid two months ago for  it. However, I had a very hard time deciding about keeping the car or let her go. I talked to Martin for more than 2 hours, and he told me that it costs a lot to repair the car. In fact, it was impossible to repair the car with less than 3000$. I really wanted to keep my car. I looked for a way to fix it somehow, but I couldn't find. I also called one of my friends, Hansen, to ask their uncle who was a car dealer in Houston to help me, but his uncle was out of the country.

I would let it go

I went to another body shop that was next to my apartments today, and showed them the pictures that I took from my car. I wanted to get an estimation about the cost of repair with minimum consideration. In fact, it was OK for me to repair the car with some cosmetic issues because I knew that it had no mechanical issues.

"Unless you bring the car here, and pay my guy to look at it, I can't give you any estimation." He said. "However, if I were you, I would let it go. If it had 60000 or 65000 miles, then I would say keep the car... but 90000... I would let it go. "

It was all the things that he told me. He couldn't give me any estimation. In fact, he was my last hope to get a estimation from another shop.

Feeling so sad

I am very sad these days. I was over that depression in these past weeks, but it started again after this accident. I didn't know that I like that car to this extend. This is a truth. I get to use something very soon. I don't know why, but it happens all the time, and God tries to teach me not to do that, but I fall for it once again.
This was, and still is, one of my worse years in my entire life. Although there are some bright points, I couldn't achieve even 10% of what I expected from the life. I hope this dark era becomes a light very soon.

He did it intentionally

I reviewed the pictures that I had taken from the accident today. I figured out sadly that he intentionally hit my car.

There are several facts:

1- It was completely obvious in the pictures that left corner of his car's front hit back door of my car. In addition, nothing happened to the front door of my car and front side of his car. This means that he turned the wheel to the right (instead of left) to make sure that the accident happens.

2- There was no skid marks on the street, and we didn't hear any sound (not before, and not after). This means that he didn't hit the break at all, but he accelerated it to make it happen.

3- Accident happened on the third lane of the street. This means that I had passed two lanes (and half of the third lane) with a low speed, and he could see my car easily before the accident.

4- The first thing that he said to me was, "I saw you didn't stop at that stop sign, and I have witnesses." This means that he knew that I haven't had a complete stop, and he saw my car far before the accident. He even had enough time to stop his car.

As a result, I think that he did it intentionally to get some money from the insurance. Are they human?

Feeling a little better

I feel a little better than today's morning when I heard about my car. I searched the Internet about total loss this evening and read something about that. I seems that they will write me a check to get my money back. Then, there are two options. First, I can give my car to them and buy another car; so, they will sell it in an auction, and I need to search again. Second, I can get my car back; however, they deduct its salvage price.

I really want to get my car back if they don't deduct a lot for its salvage price. Everything depends on their estimation and offer. The fact that there is a possibility to have my car again calm me a little this evening. I thanked god for it.

A total loss :(

I can't believe it. I received a call from the body shop that took my car two days ago.

Body shop: "Out estimation is 8000$"
Me: "8000????"
Body shop: "Yes. It is a total loss. It is not repairable."
Me: "Oh, gosh. I can't believe it. What should we do now?"
Body shop: "I'll call the insurance company; they will decide about it."
Me: "Could you send me your estimation?"
Body shop: "Yes. sure. What is your email address?"
...

I got shocked after the call. I never expect to hear that. I thought that it is repairable. I was happy before answering the call. I expect to hear that you can come on Monday and get your car, but ... It was not a serious accident, and no damage happened to the engine, and other parts. I thought that they might made a mistake. It might be another car. It might be a mistake in estimation.

I downloaded the file that they sent to me. It was correct. The parts costed about 3500$ and labor costs was around 4000$ and adding taxes to that made it about 8000$. I was in the bus when I saw it, and I cried for a few seconds. I will never see that car again. It was a very sad story. I had it for less than two months, and everyday it was useful to someone. A super clean car that took me two months to find it crashed in an accident when I was driving around 10mph. "Aroos" will never come back to my home. I still can't believe it :(
