I gave my car to Ella

Henry came to my office and talked to me about a girl who were my classmate and from my country, named Ella. He said, "she had trouble to get bus everyday to her work, and she needs a car for her summer internship. I hope you could help her with that." "I can give my car to her. No problem. I still don't have my license and I should go to school everyday, so I don't need it now."
I gave my car to her for weekdays, and I will use it on weekends. I thanked god a lot about this. My car become a source of helping people. Everyday it helps people more than me! Ella can use it on weekdays, and I will use it on weekends to help Martin and Justin's family to go shopping. I never expected that buying a car can be such helpful. My car is a real angel. They call my car "Aroos" that means bride in Persian.

We visited a house

My lease will be over this August and I need to find another place to rent. I wanted to rent a room in a house instead of contracting for another apartment. The room is cheaper, and it is not required to have a long lasting contract for it.

We went to see a room that I found its advertisement in the Criagslist website yesterday. It was very close to the university, and the neighborhood was better than my current living place. The owner was an American man around 35 yo. He showed me the room. There were two issues with the room. It doesn't have a private bathroom, and the house was dirty. They walk with their shoes in the house. I don't like to live in a place that people walk around with their shoes. 

This was very disappointing. I always wanted to try living with an American person in their house to have a closer understanding of their living style. But I don't like to live in a dirty place. In addition to that, I want to say my prayer everyday. How can I do it in a dirty place like that. I don't say that his house was dirty, but I didn't like the fact that they walk around with shoes.

I didn't like Taylor's 4th of July photos

I just didn't like Taylor's 4th of July photos. It sounded to me that she had fun, but she was not the same person that I used to know. Sometimes I think that she is no longer the person who I am going to live my life with her.

The only word that I can say about them is "disgusting." This is also the reason that I didn't put more of them here.

failed my driving test

I couldn't use my car for the driving test, since it doesn't have plates yet. I borrowed Henry's roommate car, and gave my car to him. We went for practicing parallel parking yesterday. I practiced twice, and there was no problem with my park.

My exam was today. Henry came with me to the test center. It took an hour to get into the test. A mature woman sat next to me, and asked me to start the car. The first thing was to do parallel parking. I did it, and waited for her next command. But she didn't say anything. So, I thought that it was better to make it more accurate. Suddenly, the car's back hit that column. Then, she asked me to come out of the parking, and park there. Finally, she asked me to re-schedule for the test. Simply, I failed the test. I don't know what's happened to me. I am never that careless. Henry told me that I had a great parking, but I ruined it. By the way, I need to take the test again the next month.

No problem with my car

Martin came with me to show the car to a mechanic. In the mechanical shop, I forget to put the car in the parking state. I noticed it when I came out of the car. When I wanted to change the gear, the car started to move backward. I tried to stop it, but I couldn't. Finally, Martin got into the car and stopped it. The mechanic was freaked out. I don't know what's wrong with me these days. Hopefully, nothing happened. He told us that the break has no problem, and the reason that it was not working that time was hot temperature of  it caused by the hand break. Hopefully, I was not needed to pay any money for it.

4th of July

I spend my whole 4th of July holiday with Henry and his friends. I had a plan to go to some places near downtown, so I called Henry in the morning. He told me that he was going to spend his time with his American friends. I thought that it might not be a bad idea to know his American friends.

He found them in the Toastmaster group of the university. There were a married couple, an American and an Indian, and an Asian girl. They were all good warm people. They told me, "Henry's friends are our friends."





At first, we went to a cinema. We watched a fun movie named "Now you see me." We all liked it.

Then we went to a Mediterranean restaurant. It was my first time that I went there. The food was good. Most of them were quite similar to my home country's food. Then, we went to their house. They had a three bed room town house. I was really tired, but I had no choice other than staying there. Another American girl joined us later. She was an average good-looking girl. She didn't pay attention to me at all. When she came to the house, she didn't say hi to me. I don't know whether it is a part of their culture or it is her personality. It is really good that Henry had time to find friends.

I called Martin, and we went to a park near downtown to watch the fireworks. At the end of the highway, I noticed that the break is not working properly. I scared so bad because the car was reaching the traffic signal, and it was close to have an accident because of that break. Henry noticed that I forgot to bring down the hand-break. By the way, the car stopped where it should stop, and nothing happened.

The park was far from fireworks, but they told us that we couldn't find a parking place near it. So, we stayed at that park; however, it turned out that we couldn't see fireworks once it started. We could hear it, but we couldn't see it! I saw some happy families in the park. I hope to have a happy family someday. There were also some beautiful girls there, but they had come with their boyfriends. Nevertheless, I had a very bad feeling because of the break of my car. We went back home very late at night.

It was another holiday. The good thing was I knew more people, and I enjoyed it. The bad thing was that my car broke. I hope to have a better holiday next time.
