I put an advertisement in a roommate finding website to find a roommate there. I received several messages since then. One Indian asked me. A girl was interested in my room. An African-American asked me, and an Italian male model. He also sent me several pictures of himself with some other female models. I have never known that posting an advertisement in these websites can be like that.

"I would like to know if your open to share space with a female? You certainly would not have to sleep in the living room if you share a house. What do you think?" That girl asked me.

I just got surprised by her message. I declined her offer, but I seriously thought about it. It may not be a bad idea for me to live with a female for a short amount of time. This could probably be the best way to know girls better and improve my language. I can spend lots of time with her, and we can go out together. I talked to Martin about this, and he agreed. However, he was suspicious about the consequences of such a living, specially trusting in someone who you have never seen before.

I talked to an Indian boy a few days ago. He also has found an Indian female roommate from these websites. He told me that it is very common that girls get home with boys. Those guys who get home with other guys are likely to be gay. So, you may get many messages from girls. It is weird to me, however. I may decide to try it after I moved out from my home.

Mexican Cuisine for the first time

We went to a Mexican cuisine to have lunch there, and we went back home after that. Hopefully, Henry drove my car. It was the first time that I tried a Mexican food. It was spicy and tasty. I really liked it. There was a graduation party there, so people were all happy.

I bought a white car

I saw some good cars that they have sold in less than two days. That's why I decided to buy the car as soon as I found a good one. I really didn't like that blue Corolla. I was going back from the school, and I remembered that I haven't asked God to help me with buying a car. I asked him, and told him what I really really want! Then I checked the listings everyday for two days.

Finding two cars in the same place
I was checking the list of cars that I suddenly saw a newly listed white Toyota Corolla. It was very far from my home, and I had no idea how to get there. I continued checking the lists. I saw another car, a white Toyota Camry. It was exactly in the same dealer. I got the point that God did it. I was looking for a white Corolla or Camry with my constraints. It was odd that I found both of them in the same place. It was about 5:30 pm. I called the dealer to schedule an appointment to test drive it. He said to me, you may come tomorrow, but give me a call before to make sure that it is available; someone will come tomorrow for a test drive.

I decided to go and buy the car. It was a good car with my price. I checked rental prices, and talked to Martin about it. "Which one you would like to buy?" Martin asked. "Both of them!" I answered. In fact, both had their own pros and cons. Camry was cheaper (7500$) with 120k millage and more convenient. Corolla was a little more expensive (8000$), with less millage (90k) and more fuel efficient. It had only one owner who used it gently. However, I couldn't imagine that which one I would buy tomorrow. I decided to test drive both of them, and buy the more convenient one. Both were good for their prices.

Renting a car
We rented a car the next day, and we went there. I also asked Henry to come with us to visit downtown after that. Renting the car was very simple. Since I couldn't drive, Martin rented the car. The representative told us that it cost 82$, and we agreed.

In the dealership
We got there within an hour. It was very far from my home. It was a big dealership. They had many cars that they fixed them everyday. We asked the dealer to show us both cars. He said that he sold the Corolla yesterday. "I wanted that one (Corolla)," I said to Martin and Henry for joking. We were about to test drive Camry that the dealer said, "Oh, I am sorry; we have sold this car yesterday." "Have you sold both of them yesterday???" I asked. It was very disappointing because they listed both of them yesterday. How they could sell them within one day?

He went to his office, and came back after a few minutes. "I am sorry; the Corolla is available. We haven't sold it yet!" he said. "Oh man, you are killing me! Can we test it now?" I said. "Yes." he answered. I said to Martin and Henry, "I wanted that car (Camry)!" and we laughed together.

Testing the car
Henry got the car as he had state's driver licence. We went out and drove the car for a few minutes. "OK. Now, it's your turn to test it." Henry said. "Oh my god, I can't do that. It is very crowded here." I said. "You are going to buy this car; don't you want to test it?" Henry asked. "OK. I will do it. Let's go somewhere less crowded." I answered.

We went to a quiet neighborhood, and I drove the car. I forgot to watch my mirror when I wanted to come out of park. Beep sound of the other car reminded me that I forgot many things about driving. I drove it for a few miles. It was smooth and very easy to drive. It was not awesome, but it was OK. So, we decided to show it to a mechanic to make sure about its engine and transition.

At the mechanic shop
It was hard to find a mechanical shop there as we didn't know the area. We found a Firestone inspection branch there. I called them, and they said to me that it would cost around 107$ for inspection. It was a huge amount of money. I checked its Carfax again, and I saw that it was very well-maintained. So, I decided to show it to a cheaper mechanic.



We found one who was also a Muslim from Iraq. Martin negotiated with him, and he gave us lots of discounts. His mechanic was from Italy. He checked the car, and said that nothing could go wrong with this car. Everything is perfect. I wanted to give him 40$ as he said that it is his minimum, but he got 30$. I really dislike bargaining, and asking for lower prices from someone.

Bank
I knew that it was easier to give cash to the dealer. We tried to withdraw money from ATM, but it turned out that they locked our account due to the security issues. So, we went to a branch. We reached there 2:30 pm, and bank hours were until 3 pm. It took some time to unblock our accounts and get all money from them.

Why did you ask Henry to come?
"You should drive the car to home" Henry said.
"Oh, no. I can't do that. Do we need to bring the car today?" I said.
"Yes. Do you want to pay for it and leave it there?" Henry asked.
"I didn't know that. I am not ready to do that." I said.
"So, why did you ask Henry to come with us today?" Martin asked.
"Because I thought that we could go to downtown after that and had fun there!" I answered.
"Really?" Henry asked. "You didn't want me to drive the car?" he continued.
"Yes. I didn't know it!" I said. And we laughed all together.

We bought the car
We return to the dealership, and asked them for the formal process of buying. Martin started to negotiate with him about the price, but he didn't accept. He said, we are firm on our prices, and we do accept cash only. It was great for me. I always prefer such a professional trade. It's a waste of time to bargain about prices.
"We fix all the cars, and then we sell it. All have new tires, new brakes, new timing belt, ... We have 15 mechanics that work on the cars, and fix everything. We have sold 45 cars today, and we have this car for only one day and half. We have contracts with a parts company, and due to the amount of our business trade in, they have a full-time member in our site. Our prices are all competitive. So, we don't negotiate about it." The dealer said. We talked about their business, and the suitable time for buying a car. He said that October and November are the best time to buy a used car.

The car cost more than my expectations as they added taxes to the price, and I lend some money from Martin and Henry that I should give them later.

Microsoft called me and asked about Ryan

I received a call from Microsoft a few days ago, and they asked about Ryan.

She: Did Ryan live there?
Me: Yes.
She: Did he pay all rents on time?
Me: Yes.
She: Had you any issue with him? Late payments, damage to property,...
Me: No. Never any issue.
She: Will you rent your home again to him?
Me: Sure. Why not?
She: (laughing) OK. Thank you. That's all I wanted to know.

I haven't known that the companies will ask about their employees history from others. This means that they know about the issues happened in their living places,...
Let's suppose that Ryan hadn't paid his rent on time, or left me without any payment. In that case, he was in a big trouble for his future jobs. I really like this kind of politics that forces people to act properly to keep their background clean.

Looking for a used car

I spent two days to create a list of cars that I would like to see before buying them. There were several 2007-2008 Camry, and one Corolla. I asked one of my friends to give me a ride to those dealers. I was waiting for him since the morning, but he came 5 pm. As most dealers work to 6 pm, we could just go to one of them.

I picked the nearest one. We reached there around 5:30 pm. The dealer was from Pakistan. Once we get there, the dealer told us that he had sold that Camry a few hours ago. He had a Corolla 2009 XLE, and I decided to test drive it. He got my friend's insurance, and driver's licence, and gave us the key. The car was like a new car. It had only 51000 miles, and costed 11450$. Since it was the first time that I wanted to drive an automated car, I couldn't even start the engine. I completely forget how to drive. I drove that car for less than ten minutes, and I had this feeling that I would trash it by a nice accident! I didn't feel confident at all. Therefore, I decided not to buy that car.

That experience caused me to change my mind completely about the newer cars. I had chosen several expensive cars, but I decided to buy a cheaper car. It is true that I will have fewer issues with those expensive cars, but I need to spend more money on them and get a loan to buy. This will increase the cost of insurance.

Unfortunately, there are many cheaper cars with problems. I found many of them that had severe accidents in their records. I found a 2003 Camry that I decided to buy, but it had a structural damage a few years ago.

I found a 2006 Corolla S, but it had two accidents in the front and the rear. Many creepy cars priced higher than their value.

I spent lots of time again to find cheaper cars. Since they didn't have their Carfax with them, I registered to the carfax website for 55$. I ignored all my criteria to find a good mechanically correct car. No more white color, no more Camry, no more 2007,... I even was ready to buy a Kia one. I didn't know that buying a used car could be such a time-consuming task. I decided to find cars that I can go there by bus to not to ask anyone else to give me a ride. I am still searching to find a decent car.

I saw a blue Corolla last night that sounded good to me for its price and condition. However, I really wanted to buy a white car. I don't feel happy for it, but I may buy it. The seller is also from my country, and if it was white, I had no doubt to buy it. By the way, I decided to see it first.

Frys Electoronic

I went to a new store called Frys Electronic. There were only electronic stuffs three. I think that their prices were higher than Amazon.

 I was awesome to see Taylor in that big screen TV. I decided to buy a big screen TV someday.





I was there with Martin, and his wife and their daughter. On the way back to home, it was close that a car hit their daughter. She run in the street, and a car with about 50-60 mph was passing that street. The car didn't stop at all. It was really close that an accident happen there. I scared so bad that I couldn't even move. Hopefully, nothing happened. I was wondering that why that car didn't stop at all. It was a very dangerous situation. If 

I cooked meat for the first time

I cooked meat for the first time. I always had this feeling that it is hard to cook a red meat. However, once I did it tonight, I saw that how easy it was.
