San Diego Day 6 - Downtown and going to airport

I walked in San Diego downtown for the last time to find a bus stop to the airport.

It was very hot, and I couldn't find any water there. I saw a shop that had something like ice-pack. I don't know what it was, and I tried it for the first time.

It turned out to be a delicious thing. I liked it.

Then I went to the airport to finish this journey.

San Diego Day 6 - Maritime Museum of San Diego 2

I went to Maritime Museum of San Diego again. Then, I saw other ships. Some of them were very beautiful.

Sometimes you could here the voice of a bomb there. They shoot ancient ship bombs from old military ships, and it was a surprise that these things are still working.

A woman explained the old weapons that there common in the ships. There was also a kid who was asking some questions about the usage of those guns.

Then I saw another submarine.

This one was a Russian one.

The design was completely different from the previous one that I saw yesterday.

The corridors were very narrow, and only one person could walk there at a time.

Its rooms were very very small. I don't know how they could stay here.

It was also much more complicated. There were so many things to control this submarine.

I thought about the design of this submarine and the previous one. It sounded to me that the culture could make such a difference there.

One of the ships was like pirates ships. I really liked its style.

It was also a small museum inside it.

There were some people who dressed up in an old-fashioned cloths. I took pictures with them.

There was also some educational maps in the museum,

And that's how I finished visiting San Diego.

San Diego Day 6 - To the airport and museum

I packed my baggage to leave the hostel.

I had no idea where to go with that heavy baggage, so I decided to go directly to the airport and wait for the flight. Once I got there, I gave my luggage to them, but they said that the flight had a delay. I was lucky that I went there first; otherwise, it could waste a lot of time waiting for a delayed flight.

Then, I decided to go to Maritime Museum again to see non-seen parts of it. I could find no bus to go there, so I walked to there.

It took about one hour, and it was very hot today. I just saw a park in my way.

San Diego - Day 6 - The Last Day in San Diego

Today was my last day in San Diego. I had a flight to catch in the evening. There was a girl in the hostel that I liked her (at least I didn't dislike her!), and I decided to talk to her that night that we had sushi. She was working there all the time. She cleaned the kitchen and bath,... every day. I wanted to go to the party that they had last night, but it was far from the hostel, and they were going to come back after 2 am, and I didn't want to miss my prayer because of that, so I didn't go there.

I talked to her before leaving the hostel. She was from Switzerland, and came to the US to get experience and learn English. She stayed in that hostel to work for them and pay her fees there. She said, "I couldn't sleep last night because it was hot and there was no air conditioner or fan in our room." I was luck that I had a room that had a window; otherwise, I couldn't sleep there, too. When I said good bye to her, she hugged me and kissed me. "Why are you kissing me?" I thought to myself. She didn't even have a university degree. In fact, she never went to the university. She liked me, and when I asked for her Facebook she gave me.

I left there, but I knew that I never see her again because she was not my type of girl at all. However, I think that it was a good experience. At least I could overcome my shyness after a few days and talk to a girl whom I think that I might be interested in her. Although I was not, but I figured out how it could be. It was not that hard. Ummm, it was, but I did it. On the other hand, I am not proud of it at all. I think that I talked to someone who wished to have someone like me who is educated and successful. When I said about my education, she got amazed. So, she was not a big deal for me at all.

San Diego Day 5 - Seaport Village

During the tour, the operator talked about Seaport Village that was designed by Disney. I decided to go and see that place, too.

During the way, I called Ryan, and talked to him about San Diego. He was there for two days, but he couldn't see many places. I told him that San Diego was ten times better than any other cities that I have ever seen. It changed completely my mind about how awesome a city can be.

I saw a family of three who were trying to take their pictures together. I offered them to take their pictures, but the man gave me an anger look. He was an Asian. I hated what he did. I was going to help, and I wanted them to take my picture as well, but he... I did it many times during my travel, and he was the only one who reacted like that. I avoid these kind of creatures who can't understand the people around them, but I don't forget his hateful face.
